Cookie Policy

Last updated: 19 June 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Firebid also uses related technologies such as local storage and session storage. In this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these.

2. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary

  • Authentication — keeps you signed in to your account.
  • Session & CSRF — protects forms and checkout from cross-site abuse.
  • Cookie consent — remembers your choice on this banner.

Functional

  • Theme preference, recently viewed listings, draft listing data.

Payments

  • Our payment processor (Stripe) sets cookies during checkout and billing portal sessions to prevent fraud and complete the transaction. See Stripe's cookie policy for details.

3. We do not use advertising cookies

Firebid does not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking pixels. We do not sell your data. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.

4. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and checkout from working.
